The cartoon shows an Israeli soldier depicted as a Coronavirus particle with rifle barrels and handcuffs in place of peplomers. The soldier is aiming a gun at a Palestinian man in a keffiyeh (Arab headdress) who is standing in front of a mosque and protecting it; an intravenous line is coming out of the mosque into the man’s arm.
