Minister of Prisoners’ Affairs, Issa Karake, who participated in the ceremony of honor, described the suffering of the prisoners, caused as a result of the despicable Israeli attacks against them and against their families – killing, beating, intimidation, and torture. He noted that the prisoners are entitled to live in dignity and in liberty, like the other peoples of the world.
Chairman of the Prisoners’ Club, Qadura Fares, said: ‘We commemorate this day in honor of our resolve and of those who bore arms in order to defend the land and dignity.’”
