“Minister of Prisoners’ Affairs Issa Karake said: ‘In truth, viewing the prisoners as heroes after their release is not sufficient; they need someone to help them to integrate into society and to create real work places that will allow them to support themselves and their families.’
In an exclusive statement to WAFA while examining projects for released prisoners… who had benefited from the loans service of the rehabilitation plan for released prisoners, Karake added that the purpose of this plan was to integrate the released prisoners into the local labor market and to help them become an influential force in the Palestinian economy during this important period.”
