Israel implants artifacts “as though they were relics of the alleged Temple period”

Headline: "Attacks on Al-Aqsa [Mosque] on the anniversary of [Muhammad's] Night Journey – chronology of events"
"The anniversary of the Night Journey coincided this year with an escalation in Israeli attacks on the Al-Aqsa Mosque, from where Muhammad ascended to Heaven. The latest attack was the transformation of the Umayyad palaces, in the lower part of the Mosque's southern wall, into Jewish religious sites, in an attempt to Judaize the palaces.
In 1967, after the Six-Day War, Israel conquered the Al-Buraq Wall (i.e., the Western Wall) and seized control of some of the religious trust assets of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. It also destroyed the Mughrabi neighborhood and devastated 138 buildings in it, along with the Al-Afdaliyeh school, the Al-Buraq mosque, and the Mughrabi mosque, and thereafter the series of attacks continued.
On Aug. 9, 1969, the rabbi of the Israeli occupation army, Shlomo Goren, stormed the Noble Sanctuary of Jerusalem (i.e., the Temple Mount) leading a Jewish gang of about 50 men, and they held 'prayers' there.
On Aug. 21, 1969, the extremist Australian Jew Michael Dennis Rohan started a fire in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, leading to the destruction of the Saladin prayer podium, which was over 800 years old, along with other portions of the ceiling….
On Oct. 18, 1990, Jewish extremists lay the cornerstone for the alleged Third Temple in the courtyard of the Noble Sanctuary of Jerusalem, and thousands of our [Palestinian] people came to stop them. There were clashes involving Israeli occupation soldiers, who shot at worshippers, leading to the Martyrdom of more than 21 civilians and the injury of 150 more. On Sept. 28, 2000, former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, at the time the leader of the Likud, invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque, surrounded by dozens of armed [bodyguards]; following this the Al-Aqsa Intifada broke out, over the course of which thousands of civilians died and were injured…
Over the past two years the occupation forces have stepped up operations targeting the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The most prominent among them were a series of weekly attacks, such as the settlers' invasion of the Al-Aqsa Mosque on an ongoing basis, most recently at the official opening, on the part of the occupation authorities, of the area of the Umayyad Caliphate palaces south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque as ‘the baths of the alleged Temple.’ The occupation authorities have almost completed the construction of steel tribunes and podiums connecting vast areas of the Umayyad palaces region, in the form of a trail which the occupation calls a 'Talmudic path to the Temple baths'. They have placed several signs along the new Judaizing path, which speak of the alleged First and Second Temple periods and about the walls of these Temples. New archaeological discoveries, which were not previously in the area, have also been placed [there], as though they were relics of the alleged Temple period."

Note: The fire in the Al-Aqsa Mosque in 1969 was started by a deranged Australian Christian, but the Palestinian Authority for years has attributed it to Israel.
