PA TV: Kidnapped Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit “entered Gaza in a tank to kill children”
PA TV program Good Morning Jerusalem interviews Alaa Haddad from the Committee of Families of Jerusalemite Prisoners on the subject of worsening conditions for Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons.
PA TV host: "The [Israeli] prisoner Gilad Shalit [being held by Hamas] does not receive visits or have contact with his family. Can one draw a comparison [between him and the Palestinian prisoners]?"
Haddad: "Of course not. This captive – they call him, Shalit, a captive, but it's clear that he – Shalit – is not a captive. Shalit entered Gaza in a tank, to kill children; he did not hand himself over and say to them, 'Use me for a prisoner exchange.'"
