Prisoners have turned prisons into universities with PA-supported study programs, says PA Minister of Education

PA Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mahmoud Abu Mweis: “The prisoners are a truly great story of heroism. These prisoners have turned the prison cells and the prisons into study rooms and small universities. There is scientific research and meticulous teaching there. We have supported them through programs - BA programs and MA programs. Believe me, the studies and the credibility of the certificates inside the prisons are equal to the credibility of the certificates outside the prisons and even exceed them.”
