PA accuses Israel of "murdering" Mahmoud Kmeil, the terrorist who opened-fire at Israeli Security forces

Official PA TV News

Official PA TV newsreader: “The occupation authorities have threatened the father of young Martyr Mahmoud Omar Kmeil (i.e., terrorist, shot at Israeli security personnel) to destroy his home in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, after he was summoned to interrogation at the Salem military camp.”

Official PA TV reporter: “Sorrow and pain fill the family of Martyr Mahmoud Kmeil over the loss of the son whom the occupation soldiers (i.e., IDF) murdered in cold blood, claiming that he carried out an attack. They also refuse to hand over his body to his relatives for burial.”

Omar Kmeil, father of terrorist Mahmoud Kmeil: “Allah willing we consider him a Martyr. They called me, they informed- they told me: ‘Your son has died as a Martyr and he wounded a soldier, and we may destroy your home.’ Of course I objected to them. There cannot be a law and custom in the entire [world] that you hold the body of one who has died, or you destroy the home of someone who is dead already, and this is not his property [anymore]. In the end we are a sacrifice, all the homes. As far as I’m concerned, I have sacrificed my life.”

Fatah Executive Committee member in Qabatiya Riyad Kmeil: “Martyr Mahmoud Kmeil, who ascended to Heaven as a Martyr yesterday [Dec. 21, 2020] from one of the gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque – there is great symbolism in this, both historically and in terms of the struggle. We will have activities for- We will make all efforts so that his pure body will be handed over for the burial of his body.”

Reporter: “The occupation did not make do with killing Mahmoud, holding his body, and preventing his family from seeing him for the last time, but rather it hurried to threaten his father with the destruction of his home while ignoring the humanitarian situation of Martyr Kmeil’s family after the loss of their son.

The holding of the Martyr’s body and the threat to destroy his home are racist steps that the occupation is implementing, through which it is attempting to break the strength of our people who will continue to struggle until achieving its freedom and the establishment of its independent state whose capital is noble Jerusalem.”
