Abbas vows that terrorist prisoners are his top priority

“Yesterday evening [Sept. 20, 2021, PA] President Mahmoud Abbas called released prisoner Murid Ghaith (PMW was unable to determine the nature of his crimes -Ed.) and congratulated him on his release from the Israeli occupation’s prisons.

During the conversation, the president praised the struggles and resolve of our [Palestinian] people, and particularly the prisoners. He emphasized that the prisoners’ cause is at the top of the [PA] leadership’s priorities until they all enjoy freedom.

Prisoner Murid Ghaith is from the village of Deir Ghasana north of Ramallah, and he was released yesterday after serving 17 years of imprisonment.”
