Israel’s destruction is inevitable - a repeating PA promise
Israel “will pass… Jerusalem will be liberated, return to Islam… The evil will pass,” says PA Mufti
Jewish immigration to “Palestine” was “a colonialist Zionist plan” but “occupiers always leave in the end… [the Jews] too will return to where they came from,” says official PA TV:
After the “present invaders” leave, Israel’s history in the land will be “one line written in blood,” writes official PA daily

The PA’s belief that Israel’s eventual destruction is guaranteed has been a repeating theme for decades. It was expressed again four times recently in official PA sources.
The PA’s highest religious authority, Grand Mufti Muhammad Hussein, assured PA TV viewers that the destruction of Israel, the “liberation” of Jerusalem and its “return to Islam,” is only a matter of time:
PA Mufti Muhammad Hussein: “The injustice will certainly pass and the occupation (i.e., Israel) will pass…If we turn to the history of Palestine it has been occupied by many peoples, and many invaders have entered it, but in the end the occupation left and the invaders left … Jerusalem will certainly be liberated and return to the embrace of Islam, noble and strong with its holy sites and its people, and the evil will pass, Almighty Allah willing.”

Shortly after the PA Mufti promised Israel’s demise, official PA TV broadcast a filler between programs, stating that all Jewish immigration to what is today Israel was illegal and carried out according to a “colonialist Zionist plan.” Therefore, Israel's existence will come to an end and its people will “return to where they came from” because “occupiers always leave in the end”:
Official PA TV narrator: “The illegal (sic.) immigration of the Jews to Palestine: The beginning of the illegal immigration to Palestine was in 1837... This proves the extent of the historical plot against Palestine many decades before the Nakba (i.e., “the catastrophe,” the establishment of Israel) in 1948… The Jewish immigration to the land of Palestine continued as part of a colonialist Zionist plan led by the world powers at the time… They immigrated to Palestine over many decades while dreaming of establishing a Jewish entity on Palestinian Islamic-Christian Arab land… But history has never let the colonialist remain, and the occupiers have always left in the end. One day they [the Jews] too will return to where they came from.”

The PA’s message that Israelis will all be leaving is a recurring PA theme. Writing on issues of Jerusalem, a regular columnist of the official PA daily repeated the belief that Israel's and Israelis’ days are numbered. He also mocked Israel, vowing that after the Israelis are gone, Israel's history will be nothing more than “one line written in blood” in Palestinian history:
“Dozens of invaders have passed through Jerusalem and Palestine throughout history, and they all left while Palestine and Jerusalem remained. The fate of the present invaders will be no better. When they leave, we will preserve for them one line written in blood in our land’s history.”

The official PA daily printed an op-ed by a Palestinian writer from Damascus who compared Israel to “bloodthirsty, brutal, and barbaric enormous armies” that occupied Palestine, predicting they “will leave defeated”:
“The Palestinian homeland… was and will remain Palestinian despite the invasions and wars that came one after the other on its land. Bloodthirsty, brutal, and barbaric enormous armies came to it from all around the world and occupied it, but they left while the Palestinian space remained a homeland and home for the Palestinians…
This was the situation of the British, who also left. This image stands today before the eyes of the Israeli tyranny, and this is the thing that most frightens the Israelis, because history is a mirror in which the Israelis see themselves as thieves. They will surely leave defeated!”

Palestinian Media Watch has exposed that the PA’s internal narrative envisions Israel's destruction, stating that all of the State of Israel is Palestinian land. Palestinian children are also taught that Israel will come to an end.
The following is a longer excerpt of the PA TV filler:
Official PA TV host: “The illegal (sic.) immigration of the Jews to Palestine: The beginning of the illegal immigration of the Jews to Palestine was in 1837. This was the first immigration that was managed by wealthy British Jew Moses Montefiore, who established the first Jewish colony on the land of Palestine, and this proves the extent of the historical plot against Palestine many decades before the Nakba (i.e., “the catastrophe,” the Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel) in 1948. A number of sources estimate the number of Jews in Palestine in 1837 at approximately 1,500 people, and their number rose in 1840 and reached approximately 10,000.
Shortly afterwards the stream began to strengthen systematically and significantly. The history of the first Jewish neighborhood outside the [Old City] walls of Jerusalem goes back to 1859, and it was called Yemin Moshe then, named after Montefiore who received an Ottoman permit in 1855 to purchase the land and build a hospital on it, but he quickly turned it into popular residences for Jews, which became the seed of the Jewish neighborhood in Jerusalem outside the Old City walls.
The Jewish immigration to the land of Palestine continued as part of a colonialist Zionist plan led by the world powers at the time, and it was carried out by the Zionist groups that employed a method of religious belief according to what is written in their Torah about “the promised land.” They immigrated to Palestine over many decades while dreaming of establishing a Jewish entity on Palestinian Islamic-Christian Arab land. They settled in Palestine’s cities and villages where people lived with their culture in security, but history has never let the colonialist remain, and the occupiers have always left in the end. One day they [the Jews] too will return to where they came from, as individuals and as groups.”

Muhammad Hussein also serves as Deputy Secretary-General and acting Secretary-General of the PLO Popular National Conference of Jerusalem.
Jewish immigration in 1837 was legal. Moreover, even though most of the population was exiled by Rome after the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 CE and the Bar Kochva Rebellion in 135 CE some Jews have always remained in the land of Israel.
