PA prime minister welcomes US plan to reopen consulate in “occupied Arab Jerusalem”

PA Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh: “We welcome the US’ insistence on reopening its consulate in occupied Arab Jerusalem, which emphasizes that Jerusalem is occupied land to which the same rules apply that apply to the rest of the Palestinian lands according to international law. Reopening the consulate, as American Secretary of State [Antony Blinken] declared, is an important matter and a promise that the US took upon itself.”
