Israel is "eradicating Islamic culture and history in order to fabricate a new imaginary culture" declares Mufti Muhammad Hussein

Jerusalem Mufti Muhammad Hussein appeared on PA TV’s “Good Morning, Jerusalem” program, and said,

“Muslims and Arabs should come to [Jerusalem] in order to support this holy city, and in order to stand with its people and these holy places that the Israeli occupation longs to destroy. It is carrying out extensive excavations to undermine their structures and it is eradicating Islamic culture and history in order to fabricate a new imaginary culture. That is to say, it wants to put an end to the culture that presently exists and that has existed continuously for many, many years in this holy city.”
