Official PA TV host: “The occupation forces began to implement these measures as part of an intensifying plan to take control of Jerusalem and change its Arab and Islamic characteristics since it was occupied in 1967. At the time it passed a series of laws and orders regarding all parts of the city and its suburbs at all levels – its people, its stones, its homes, its cemeteries, its mosques, and its churches. This was in order to change its true and natural characteristics, which constitute decisive evidence of this city’s true Arab history, in an aspiration to Judaize the site and change and falsify the facts, despite its failures for 100 years of excavations to find any kind of evidence testifying that Jerusalem is not Arab (sic., an abundance of archaeological evidence proves Jewish history in Jerusalem).”
