PLO publishes data on Palestinian terrorists in Israeli prisons, saying that there are 4,700 Palestinian prisoners, 544 serving life sentences
“Director of [PLO] Commission of Prisoners and Released Prisoners’ Affairs Qadri Abu Bakr… explained that there are 4,700 prisoners, including 600 sick people of whom 200 need urgent medical and therapeutic intervention, 544 prisoners who are serving life sentences, 500 administrative detainees, …200 minors under age 18, 34 female prisoners, and 103 prisoners who have served more than 20 years in prison, 25 of whom have been imprisoned since before the signing of the [1993] Oslo Accords.”
