“Yesterday [Nov. 29, 2021], the State of Palestine participated in launching the discussions of the 26th session of the Conference of the States Parties of the Chemical Weapons Convention, which is taking place at the headquarters of the Organization [for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons] (OPCW) in The Hague, in the Netherlands.

Suleiman emphasized that it is necessary to strengthen this convention’s principle of globalism, as the State of Palestine believes that establishing true peace in the Middle East will start from it becoming a demilitarized region of all kinds of weapons of mass destruction, including chemical weapons.She added that Israel is the only state that has a stockpile of this kind of weapon, and that it is continuing to use it against our people (sic.).”
