PA official threatens Israel with “armed struggle” if Israel annexes any part of the West Bank

Fatah Central Committee Secretary Jibril Rajoub: "Either [there will be] a Palestinian state according to the UN resolutions, or this occupation is pushing us and the international community back to the basis of confrontation. I know what I’m saying, and I mean what I’m saying: We won’t die alone and we won’t suffer alone... If [Israeli PM Netanyahu] has decided on partial or any manner of annexation, he has declared the end of the so-called “negotiated agreement” … [and] we have returned to the starting point that existed before the Oslo Accords. The bases of confrontation will certainly change, and instead of [merely] talking of armed struggle and missiles and the like, we will sit and decide and initiate and not wave a white flag... By the way, the international community will recognize our right to all forms of resistance without exception in the occupied areas against the occupation and its symbols to end the occupation."

The terms “all means,” “all means of resistance,” “all forms,” are ‎used by PA leaders to include using all types of violence, including deadly terror ‎against Israeli civilians such as stabbings and shootings, as well as throwing rocks and Molotov Cocktails.

Jibril Rajoub also serves as Head of the PLO Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the Palestinian Football Association, Chairman of the Palestine Olympic Committee, and Chairman of the Palestinian Scout Association (PSA).
