PA libel: "There are fixed and clear instructions from the Israeli government to murder the Palestinian people”

Headline: “Martyr Salima – systematic execution”

“The video that shows the Israeli occupation soldiers executing at point-blank range Muhammad Shawkat Salima (i.e., terrorist, wounded 1 person), 25, from Salfit, two evenings ago, on Saturday [Dec. 4, 2021]… gave the world additional proof of the Israeli occupation’s crimes against our people (sic., security footage showed Salima repeatedly lunging at officers even after being shot, causing them to fire, out of fear that he was trying to detonate a suicide bomb)…

[PA] Minister of Justice Muhammad Al-Shalaldeh told [the official PA news agency] WAFA that these crimes against Palestinian civilians are considered war crimes and crimes against humanity…

He added that according to the Hague Convention, the First Geneva Protocols [of the Geneva Convention] from 1977, and the legal principles, it is forbidden for the occupation states to harm protected people, who are the civilian population.

According to Al-Shalaldeh… what happened two days ago to young Muhammad Salima from Salfit is considered according to international law and international humanitarian law as a crime of summary execution without trial and premeditated illegal murder, which was committed by the Israeli government…

Al-Shalaldeh noted that the execution of Salima at the Damascus Gate [of the Old City of Jerusalem] without a trial by the occupation forces proves that there are fixed and clear instructions from the Israeli government to murder the Palestinian people.
