Hamas "welcomes the heroic" murder of an Israeli civilian in a terror attack "which constitutes a continuation of our Palestinian people’s revolution"

Headline: “Hamas welcomed the Nablus operation”

“The Hamas Movement welcomed the operation that was carried out on Thursday evening [Dec. 16, 2021] next to Nablus, in which a settler was killed and two others were wounded (refers to murder of Yehuda Dimentman in a terror attack; see note below -Ed.).

Hamas Spokesman Hazem Qassem said: ‘Hamas welcomes the heroic operation in Nablus against the occupation army soldiers and its murderous settlers (sic., the attack’s victims were civilians), which constitutes a continuation of our Palestinian people’s revolution in all the arenas of struggle.’

He continued: ‘This operation proves again that our heroic Palestinian people in the West Bank will continue its legal struggle until the removal of the occupier and its settlers from all our Palestinian land.’”

Yehuda Dimentman – 25-year-old Israeli who was murdered in a shooting attack by Palestinian terrorists near Homesh, west of Nablus, on Dec. 16, 2021. Two other Israelis were wounded in the attack. Israel arrested four Palestinian terrorists suspected of carrying out the attack and seized assault weapons from them on Dec. 19, 2021.
