“Al-Quds Open University board of governors chairman Adnan Samarah decided to establish a committee to transfer the role of university president. This was in accordance with an order issued by His Honor [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas on the appointment of Dr. Samir Al-Najdi as acting president of the university instead of Dr. Younes Amr, whose term as university president ends on [Jan.] 11 [2022].”
