PA TV host inverts reality: All Palestinian terrorists “refused to kill children and civilians”

Official PA TV host Nasser Al-Lahham: “The Palestinian fighters – from Fatah, the PFLP, the DFLP, and all the factions, with all due respect to them and from the Hamas Movement – they refused to kill children and civilians … Our self-sacrificing fighters, our fighters, and our members of Fatah, the PFLP, and Hamas, and all the self-sacrificing fighters of the Palestinian revolution do not murder children and civilians, while Israel does murder children and civilians.”

There are numerous examples of terror attacks in which Palestinian terrorists deliberately targeted civilians. In suicide bombings, hijackings, shooting attacks, stabbings, and car rammings. Among the most lethal are for example:

The Coastal Road Massacre where Fatah terrorists from Lebanon led by Dalal Mughrabi hijacked a bus on Israel's Coastal Highway in March 1978. Confronted by the Israeli army, the terrorists murdered many of the passengers on the bus, in total 37 civilians, 12 of them children, and wounded more than 70. The attack was planned by arch-terrorist Abu Jihad (Khalil Al-Wazir).

The Lod Airport attack where Japanese terrorists from the Japanese Red Army, who had been recruited by the terror organization the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), carried out an attack at Israel’s Lod (Tel Aviv) airport on May 30, 1972. Throwing hand grenades and shooting, the terrorists murdered 24 (8 Israelis and 16 foreign tourists), and wounded over 70.

The Ma'alot massacre where members of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) on May 15, 1974 took hostages at the Netiv Meir Elementary School in Ma'alot. When Israeli forces tried to rescue the hostages, the terrorists attacked the hostages with guns and grenades, murdering 22 children and 4 adults.

The Sbarro pizza shop suicide bombing in Jerusalem where a Hamas suicide bomber murdered 15 civilians, 7 of them children, and wounded 130 on Aug. 9, 2001. Ahlam Tamimi, who chose the location for the bombing, has explained that she chose Sbarro because she expected it to be full of people.

The official PA TV program From the Israeli Archive is hosted by Nasser Al-Lahham, who is also the Editor in Chief of the independent Palestinian news agency Ma’an.
