Fatah official threatens an "intifada" and that Israel will "burn with fire" if terrorist and cancer patient Nasser Abu Hmeid dies

Official PA TV, special broadcast of a procession of solidarity with terrorist prisoner and cancer patient Nasser Abu Hmeid, who was responsible for the murder of 7 people

Fatah Revolutionary Council member Muhammad Al-Lahham: “We saw the united and mutual discourse between all the Palestinians on the topic of Hisham Abu Hawash (i.e., Islamic Jihad terrorist being held under administrative detention), and also today on the topic of commander Nasser Abu Hmeid (i.e., terrorist, responsible for the murder of 7 people). This is because, Heaven forbid, in any case of difficult results of what may happen to Nasser Abu Hmeid – there will certainly be responses on the Palestinian street that I do not want to say that the occupation does not anticipate them, because the occupation anticipates them. Because the one who ignites a fire will be burned by it, and the occupation and its forces are the ones who are igniting the fire.

There are 5,000 [Palestinian] prisoners including sick people, children, and women – and we need to put a limit on these crimes. There is no medical neglect, there is premeditated medical execution that is being committed by the occupation forces and the so-called fascist racist Israeli Prison Service, which is behaving out of complete fascism with our male and female heroes in the occupation’s prisons (sic., see note below regarding PA libel on medical abuse of Palestinian prisoners).

Therefore, the Palestinian street must- in terms of the discourse, in terms of responses, and politically speaking, it is led by His Honor [PA] President [Mahmoud Abbas] who again yesterday [Jan. 5, 2022], when he blessed Nasser Abu Hmeid and the male and female prisoners in the occupation’s prisons at the end of the [Fatah] Revolutionary Council meeting, gave clear instructions to the Revolutionary Council members and the district secretaries to prepare for what is coming, not only in terms of policy at the next [PLO] Central Council meetings and the measures that are likely to be taken against the occupation, but also in terms of on the ground – to confront not only the occupation soldiers, [but also] the settlers, and all of this despicable system- We pray and hope for the wellbeing of Nasser Abu Hmeid and the rest of the prisoners. We do not want our children as Martyrs, we want them alive. But if not, what will happen is as I told you – the one who ignites a fire will be burned by it…

Our position is clear, this cause, the prisoners’ cause, is a reason for national unity, a reason for holding on, a reason for confronting the occupation in all its forms, a reason for a confrontation of intifada, of struggle, and of sacrifice in all possible forms ‎(i.e., term used by Palestinians, which also refers to the use of violence and terror) given this occupation, which deserves it…

We are together with all the prisoners and bless all the prisoners – our prisoner Karim Younes (i.e., terrorist, murdered 1 person together with an accomplice), this great hero who has already served 40 years in the occupation’s prisons; Marwan Barghouti (i.e., terrorist, orchestrated three attacks in which 5 were murdered); Walid Daqqa (i.e., terrorist, involved in murder of 1); Ibrahim Hamed (i.e., Hamas terrorist, responsible for murder of at least 53); national symbol Ahmad Sa’adat (i.e., head of PFLP terror organization); and all our male and female prisoners in the occupation’s prisons.”

Official PA TV reporter: “We say hello to released prisoner Abd Al-Fattah Doleh (i.e., terrorist, involved in the murder of 1 person), a prisoner who experienced the occupation’s prisons and knows what medical neglect looks like and how the so-called Israeli Prison Service is committing medical neglect in order to premeditatedly kill the prisoners.

Released terrorist prisoner Abd Al-Fattah Doleh: “The situation is very difficult. There is an attempt to murder Nasser Abu Hmeid and the sick prisoners. This is a policy of medical execution and not a policy of medical neglect, and it is being implemented to murder the prisoners in the occupation’s prisons.

Libel on medical abuse of Palestinian prisoners - The PA claims that Israel abuses Palestinian prisoners through medical neglect, medical experiments, and by intentionally infecting them with diseases. However, the International Red Cross regularly visits these prisoners and has not documented or accused Israel of any of these claims. Likewise, lists of demands occasionally issued by the prisoners during hunger strikes—such as during one in 2011—include no demands relating to these claims. PMW has documented prisoners talking about how they "lack nothing" in the prisons and that "the worst thing about Israeli prison" is riding in a prison vehicle that has no padding on the seat. When PMW contacted the Israeli Ministry of Health in 2007 regarding PA claims of medical experiments on prisoners, the ministry responded: "Clinical testing on prisoners in prison was never approved, never performed, and is most certainly not taking place at present."

The terms “all means,” “all means of resistance,” “all forms,” are ‎used by PA leaders to include using all types of violence, including deadly terror ‎against Israeli civilians such as stabbings and shootings, as well as throwing rocks and Molotov Cocktails.

Karim Younes - Israeli Arab terrorist who kidnapped and murdered Israeli soldier Avraham Bromberg in 1980 together with his cousin Maher Younes. Younes was originally sentenced to life in prison, but Israeli President Shimon Peres reduced his sentence in 2012. Younes is serving a 40-year sentence. In May 2017 Younes was appointed by PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas to the Fatah Central Committee. Younes was released from prison on Jan. 5, 2023.

Marwan Barghouti – Palestinian terrorist and member of the Palestinian Authority parliament who is serving 5 life sentences for orchestrating three shooting attacks in which 5 people were murdered: one attack on the Jerusalem-Maale Adumim road (June 12, 2001) in which Greek Orthodox monk Tsibouktsakis Germanus was murdered by terrorists Ismail Radaida and Yasser Ah'Rabai, another attack at a gas station in Givat Zeev near Jerusalem (Jan. 15, 2002) in which Yoela Hen was murdered by terrorists led by Mohammed Matla, and one shooting and stabbing attack at the Seafood Market restaurant in Tel Aviv (March 5, 2002) in which Eli Dahan, Yosef Habi, and Police Officer Sergeant-Major Salim Barakat, were murdered by terrorist Ibrahim Hasouna. When arrested by Israel in 2002, Barghouti headed the Tanzim (Fatah terror faction). After he was convicted and imprisoned, he was re-elected as a member of the Palestinian Authority parliament. On Dec. 4, 2016, he was elected to Fatah's Central Committee.

Walid Daqqa - Israeli Arab member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). He is serving a life sentence for being part of the squad that kidnapped and murdered Israeli soldier Moshe Tamam in 1984.

Ibrahim Hamed - Palestinian terrorist and Hamas leader who orchestrated a number of attacks including a suicide bombing at the Sheffield Club in Rishon LeZion (15 murdered, May 7, 2002) and several bombings in Jerusalem: Hillel Cafe (7 murdered, Sept. 9, 2003), the Hebrew University cafeteria (9 murdered, July 31, 2002), Moment Cafe (11 murdered, March 9, 2002), Zion Square (11 murdered, Dec. 1, 2001), and others. Hamed is serving 54 life sentences.

Ahmad Sa’adat - serving a 30-year sentence for heading the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terror organization. A song at a PFLP event also praised him for planning the assassination of Israeli Minister of Tourism Rehavam Ze'evi in 2001, but he has not been tried for this crime.

Abd Al-Fattah Doleh – Palestinian terrorist and member of the Tanzim (Fatah terror faction). He participated in the kidnapping and murder of 16-year-old Ofir Rahum on Jan. 17, 2001. Amna Muna (a female accomplice) met Rahum in an Internet chat room and engaged him in an online romance that culminated in his agreeing to meet her. She drove him to Ramallah, where they were met by Doleh and another accomplice, Hassan Alkadi, who shot and killed Rahum. Doleh served 12 years in prison and was released on June 30, 2016. After being released, Doleh was appointed as a PLO Commission of Prisoners' Affairs executive committee member and Fatah Commission of Mobilization and Organization spokesman.
