PA claims that the Negev has been "Palestinian for thousands of years" despite the fact that there is no Palestinian history dating back that far

“The uprooting of the peaceful Palestinian Salhiyeh family and the destruction of its home is a war crime and despicable ethnic cleansing (refers to attempted eviction of illegal Arab squatters from public land in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of Jerusalem on Jan. 17, 2022 -Ed.). [Also] what is happening in the Negev (refers to violent Bedouin Arab riots in response to the Jewish National Fund planting trees in the Negev for the Jewish holiday of Tu B’Shevat -Ed.) is nothing but systematic ethnic cleansing that is meant to Judaize this land, which has been Palestinian and Arab for thousands of years (sic., the Palestinians have no history prior to the modern period).”
