The cartoon shows arid ground in the shape of a face. An Israeli security officer in riot gear is kneeling on the throat attached to the face and covering its mouth with his hand while it tries to shout.

The cartoon refers to violent Bedouin Arab riots in response to the Jewish National Fund planting trees in the Negev for the Jewish holiday of Tu B’Shevat.
