The Cave of the Patriarchs is “an Islamic Arab site only,” states Fatah official

Fatah Hebron Branch Secretary Imad Kherwat: “We say to all our people in Palestine, and to everyone who listens to us, that we are entering the holy compound (i.e., the Cave of the Patriarchs) on a daily basis in spite of the Israelis, and we will continue to do so and will not concede under any- with all means (i.e., term used by Palestinians, which also refers to the use of violence and terror) on this holy site. This site is an Islamic Arab site only, the Israelis or Israeli occupation have no right to be present at the holy site. This site is an Islamic site and we will protect it with all our Arab identity, and will act there according to the instructions of [PA President] Mahmoud Abbas.”

The terms “all means,” “all means of resistance,” “all forms,” are ‎used by PA leaders to include using all types of violence, including deadly terror ‎against Israeli civilians such as stabbings and shootings, as well as throwing rocks and Molotov Cocktails.
