Official PA TV newsreader: “Fatah Central Committee member and Head of Civil Affairs [in the PA] Minister Hussein Al-Sheikh said that [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas’ meeting with [Israeli] Minister [of Defense] Benny Gantz dealt with the importance of creating a political prospect that will lead to a political solution according to the resolutions that have received international legitimacy. Al-Sheikh explained in a tweet on his Twitter account that the meeting also dealt with the tense situation on the ground due to the settlers’ actions. The meeting also included a discussion on a number of security, humanitarian, and economic issues.”
