PA libel: "Israeli PM Itamar Ben Gvir is demanding to open fire on Palestinian prisoners"

Official PA TV program Talk of the Hour

Spokesman of the Fatah Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs Nashat Al-Wahidi: “[Israeli Parliament Member] Itamar Ben Gvir, the one who is demanding to open fire on the prisoners (Sic., evidently refers to Ben Gvir’s bill to give terrorist prisoners the death penalty), is also the one who attempted to break into the room of hunger-striking prisoner Miqdad Al-Qawasmi (i.e., hunger striking Hamas terrorist; PMW was unable to determine the nature of his crimes) a while ago at the Israeli Kaplan Hospital to harm him, and if not for [Israeli Parliament Member] Ayman Odeh – let us say this clearly on the screen of the [official PA] TV channel that we are proud of – if Israeli Parliament Member Ayman Odeh had not prevented him and not allowed him to commit this crime, this prisoner would have been killed (sic., Odeh pushed and physically assaulted Ben Gvir on Oct. 19, 2021, preventing him from visiting the terrorist to investigate his situation – see note below).”

Israeli Parliament Member Itamar Ben Gvir wrote on his Twitter account on Oct. 19, 2021: “I went to Kaplan Hospital to understand how the terrorist Al-Qawasmi is getting royal conditions and honor, and how after 90 days of fasting he still has not died. And who came to defend him and attack me? Of course, Ayman Odeh. Don’t worry, I held my own. 2 terrorists with one stone.”
