“Secretary General of The Palestinian National Commission for Education Culture & Science Ismail Al-Tellawi announced that the Israeli occupation authorities have crossed all red lines in Jerusalem by having committed dangerous crimes whose aim is to distort, destroy, and Judaize the holy, historical and cultural places and the Arab Islamic cultural heritage, and to eradicate the Arab cultural identity of the city…

(He) said that in light of the current violence and instability in the Arab homeland, the Israeli occupation is taking advantage of the situation to isolate the city of Jerusalem and its inhabitants, and is carrying out a cultural massacre of [Arab] cultural institutions and centers. This [is being done] by immoral steps and by imposing unlawful injunctions and regulations on the residents of Jerusalem (that are) intended to force them to live outside the city.”
