"Judaism does not accept the other and… it is impossible to become Jewish" lies Lebanese religious leader on PA TV

Official PA TV program From Beirut

Director of the Christian-Muslim Committee for Interfaith Dialogue in Lebanon Muhammad Sammak: “The Israelis are acting according to their religious belief, and according to its precepts. Judaism does not accept the other, religiously speaking. No one from the outside enters Judaism. It is impossible to become Jewish (sic., any non-Jew can convert and become Jewish). Therefore, purity of place in the Jewish sense of the concept is that there not be anyone in Jerusalem who is not Jewish. This is part of the faith, a translation into action of the faith. It is not a political position. Therefore, the pressure on the Palestinians – Muslims and Christians – to remove them from Jerusalem is not a political matter. It is a religious act.”
