The Al-Aqsa Mosque should “anticipate danger” now that Jews are allowed to pray at the site, warns Islamic Waqf

Headline: “The Islamic Waqf warns against the danger threatening the Al-Aqsa Mosque”

“Islamic Waqf in Jerusalem Council Chairman Abdul Azim Salhab warned against the anticipated danger for the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque as a result of the permit for settlers to hold Talmudic (i.e., Jewish) ceremonies in the heart of the mosque (sic., refers to a Jerusalem Magistrates’ Court ruling that Jews do not violate police instructions by silently praying at the Temple Mount, which was later overturned by a Jerusalem District Court ruling)…

In an interview yesterday [Oct. 17, 2021] with [the official PA] radio [station] The Voice of Palestine, Salhab said… that the Al-Aqsa Mosque is a purely Islamic mosque, and that the Jews have no right to pray there, take control of it, or interfere in its affairs.”
