Palestinians who sell property to Jews have “sold their soul to the devil,” says Palestinian Supreme Fatwa Council

Headline: “The [Palestinian] Supreme Fatwa Council warned against the danger of excavations: They undermine the foundations of the Al-Aqsa Mosque”

“On the level of the Judaization that is taking place with full vigor in Jerusalem, the Palestinian Supreme Fatwa Council again emphasized the ban on selling real estate and territories in Jerusalem or in any other territory of Palestine to the occupation. This is because Palestine is waqf land (i.e., an inalienable religious endowment in Islamic law), which religious law bans the selling of its lands and properties or facilitating their transfer to the ownership of the enemies, as from a religious legal perspective they are considered public Islamic properties and not private property.

The council emphasized that selling, transferring, or facilitating the transfer [of land] to the occupation’s ownership through mercenary mediators constitutes severe treason against the religion, the homeland, and morality.

Likewise, anyone who cooperates with this crime conspires against the Palestinian land, cause, and people, and has sold their soul to the devil and must be pursued on all levels, and their family must disavow them, so that it will constitute a lesson for all those who consider relinquishing one inch of this blessed land.”
