Terrorist prisoners’ right to higher education is a “sacred right,” claims PA minister

“[PA] Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mahmoud Abu Mweis emphasized yesterday [Aug. 19, 2021] that the prisoners’ right to complete their studies is a sacred right. He noted that the ministry, in partnership with the [PLO] Commission of Prisoners and Released Prisoners’ Affairs, has done all that is required in order to make it easy for the prisoners to join the programs of higher education, and that it will continue its efforts on this matter as a service for the prisoners and in order to encourage them and strengthen their pioneering role in society.”
