“Yesterday, Tuesday [Feb. 16, 2022, PA] Minister of Women’s Affairs Amal Hamad discussed means of cooperation and future work on gender issues with the new Representative of Canada in the State of Palestine Catherine Palmier and her accompanying delegation at the [PA] Ministry [of Women’s Affairs] building in Ramallah.

Hamad said: …‘We are still suffering globally from the Coronavirus epidemic, in addition to the epidemic that we are suffering from regionally in Palestine, which is the occupation epidemic.’”
