I write on this page while I think of it, and it never leaves my thoughts. It is the most beautiful of all and the Queen of Roses. It is my heart and the mistress of the land. It is the most precious thing I have. It is the land of honor, the land of the Martyrs (Shahids). The river of the Martyrs’ pure blood flows from it. It is Palestine, my homeland, and after the word ‘Palestine’ there are no more words!”
