PA children's magazine provides grammar lesson, using "martyrdom" and "struggles against colonialism" as example phrases

Excerpt from the Zayzafuna magazine’s linguistic section, which provides corrections for common mistakes made in Arabic:

“Don’t say: ‘We will struggle against colonialism and fight against it.’

Say: ‘We will struggle against colonialism and fight it.’…

‘Don’t say: “So-and-so died a Martyr (Shahid) in the war.”

Say: “So-and-so died a Martyr in the war.”’” (The spelling for “died a Martyr” in Arabic is corrected.)
