“The [PLO] Commission of Prisoners and Released Prisoners’ Affairs praised the great responsibility and the mighty efforts that the official [PA] media is investing in the cause of our heroic prisoners and our wonderful female prisoners in the Israeli occupation’s prisons.

In a statement that was issued yesterday evening, Thursday [Aug. 12, 2021], the commission praised the ongoing efforts that are being invested by the official media teams, and foremost among them the journalistic teams of [official] PA TV, who are working with full dedication to maintain the daily presence of this cause in all details of our Palestinian people’s lives and to convey their suffering and the justice of their rights and demands to all the international arenas.

The commission noted that the broadcasting of the graduation ceremony of more than 400 prisoners who met the requirements to obtain a bachelor’s degree from Al-Quds Open University, which lasted several hours, is clear proof of the determination of those responsible for the official media to cross the obstacles and walls of the prisons and convey to the prisoners their families’ joy over their mighty achievements.”
