PA Mufti Muhammad Hussein: “The truth is there is no avoiding full cooperation and full solidarity between all residents of [Jerusalem] and all the relevant bodies in the resolve and adherence of our people in their residences and homes, so that Allah willing the holy city will remain Arab, Islamic, and Palestinian, flowing with its original culture – the Arab Canaanite [culture] (sic., the Canaanites were not Arabs) and Islamic culture – which the holy sites characterize.”

Muhammad Hussein also serves as Deputy Secretary-General and acting Secretary-General of the PLO Popular National Conference of Jerusalem.
