The [PA] Ministry of Education said: ‘The numbers of prisoner children in the detention camps are not just a number; they represent stories of suffering and examples of daily torment, the murder of innocence, the harming of elementary rights, and the ignoring of international conventions, foremost among them the Convention on the Rights of the Child.’ …

 

The Ministry of Education mentioned the suffering that the children and students are experiencing because they are prevented from completing their studies and receiving their rights like the rest of the world’s children. It noted the policy of house arrests…

 

The ministry reemphasized that it is committed to the just cause of the prisoners, the defense of this cause, and ensuring the rights of the prisoners and detainees, especially by providing them with education and highlighting their struggles and their sacrifice in the curricula and in classroom and extracurricular educational activities.”
