EU pledges 20 million euros in aid money "to the State of Palestine”

“European Union (EU) Spokesperson Shadi Othman said… to [the official PA news agency] WAFA yesterday evening [Feb. 24, 2021] that during a video conference meeting of the committee of international donors to the Palestinian people, the EU announced its willingness to give 20 million euros to aid Palestine in obtaining the needed Coronavirus vaccines. He explained that technical procedures are required to give this amount, and that the EU is progressing on the matter and is waiting to complete [the procedures] so that the amount will be transferred to the State of Palestine.”
