Palestinian woman gets engaged to imprisoned murderer

Father of terrorist Basel Al-Asmar: “We have come to you to ask for the hand of your resolute, modest, and most honorable daughter Sanabel Ali Al-Ra’i, who grew up in a fighting family, a family of resolve and Martyrs, a family of imprisonment and giving, who grew up with modesty, honor, pride, and love of the homeland. We have come to ask for her hand to become engaged to our son, the heroic prisoner who is standing firm behind bars, one of the heroes of the Palestinian commandos, a man of rapid response, Basel Abd Al-Rahman Al-Asmar.”
Visual: Poster at the ceremony shows Basel Al-Asmar, one of the murderers of Israeli Minister of Tourism Rehavam Ze'evi; and Ahmad Sa’adat, Palestinian terrorist convicted of heading the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terror organization. A song at a PFLP event also praised him for planning the assassination of Israeli Minister of Tourism Rehavam Ze'evi in 2001, but he has not been tried for this crime. Sa’adat is serving a 30-year sentence.
