Israel is "deliberately creating crises" during Ramadan, lies Supreme Shari’ah Judge of Palestine, threatening that the "Palestinian response will not be light or regular"

Headline: “Al-Habbash: The occupation is preparing to carry out a new crime at the Al-Aqsa Mosque during the month of Ramadan”

“Supreme Shari’ah Judge of Palestine and [PA] President [Mahmoud Abbas’] Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Mahmoud Al-Habbash warned against the occupation’s attempts to implement a plan to break into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the [Muslim fasting] month of Ramadan, and against the consequences this will have for the security and stability of the region and the world. He emphasized that all the settlers’ break-ins to the Jerusalem Noble Sanctuary (i.e., the Temple Mount) are unacceptable at any time.

In response to publications in the Israeli media outlets, according to which [Israeli] Minister of Public Security [Omer Barlev] said that Jews will be allowed to break into the Jerusalem Noble Sanctuary during the blessed month of Ramadan, Al-Habbash said in an interview with the official [PA] radio [station] The Voice of Palestine: ‘We expect nothing from the occupation state other than escalation and creating tensions.’ He added: ‘The occupation’s leaders know well that the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque is the most sensitive Palestinian site, and therefore now and then they deliberately create crises.’ …

Al-Habbash continued: ‘We must caution others and be cautious about how the occupation state is preparing to carry out a new crime, which will join its criminal record. The Palestinian response to this will not be a light response and will not be a regular response.’ Al-Habbash added that the Palestinian [PA] leadership is holding contacts with everyone and with the international community to restrain the Israeli aggression against Jerusalem.”

The PA and its leaders misrepresent all of the Temple Mount as an integral part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Therefore, they vilify any presence of Jews on the mount as a "break-in." It should be noted that Jews who visit the Temple Mount only enter some sections of the open areas, and do not enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque or the Dome of the Rock. Israeli police ban Jewish prayer at the Temple Mount because of threats of violence by Palestinians.
