"Israel is the only world state that has a practice of war, aggression, massacres, killing innocents, and annihilation" according to PA Daily

Excerpt of a column by Muwaffaq Matar, Fatah Revolutionary Council member and regular columnist for the official PA daily

Headline: “There is no copy of Israel”

“When Ukrainian President [Volodymyr] Zelensky considers his country a copy of Israel, and says that they are dealing with the same existential challenge and with the same fate, we think that this comparison only harms the Ukrainian people…

Has Zelensky asked himself what Zionist Jewish Ukrainian [former Israeli Prime Minister] Golda Meir did in Palestine, the historical homeland of the Palestinian people (sic., the Palestinians have no history prior to the modern period)? And why she left her homeland of Ukraine, as he admitted, and came to our land as an armed settler and an invader in order to completely uproot the Palestinian people? By virtue of his position as president, did he not get to know Meir’s record before he used her as an example in the letter of begging that he read before the Israeli Parliament [in a March 20, 2022 video conference]? After all, he brought as an example a war criminal who is responsible for the deaths of thousands of Palestinians and Arabs, and who spilled their blood with American weapons (evidently refers to 1973 Yom Kippur War in which Israel was attacked -Ed.)…

We do not want to make comparisons, as Israel is a system unlike any state in the world…

Every state has cultural historical roots, other than Israel (sic., an abundance of archaeological evidence proves Jewish history in Israel). Every state in the world has a history that clarifies its contribution to spreading the culture of peace and human principles, other than Israel, which is the only one that has a practice of wars, aggression, massacres, killing innocents, and annihilating neighborhoods, villages, and cities. Israel is the only state whose parliament gives off a stench of legislation and laws of hatred, discrimination, and racism.”
