PA only pays their public employees 80% of their salaries

“The [PA] Ministry of Finance announced that the March salaries of the [PA] public employees will be paid today, Tuesday [April 5, 2022], at a rate of 80%, and at a sum of no less than 2,000 [Israeli] shekels.

The ministry explained in a statement that 16% of the debts that have accumulated from the months of November, December, January, and February will be paid, and emphasized that the rest is tantamount to a debt to the employees, which will be paid when it is financially possible.”
