"Fatah heroes outlined the map of the homeland with their blood" – Fatah honours "heroic" mass murdering terrorists

Headline: “A Fatah Movement rally”

“The Fatah Movement in northern Lebanon held a mass-participant rally yesterday [March 27, 2022] at the Nahr Al-Bared refugee camp for Land Day and the 54th anniversary of the heroic Karameh battle (see notes below -Ed.)…

Secretary of the PLO factions and Fatah in northern Lebanon Mustafa Abu Harb was present at the rally…

Abu Harb emphasized that the month of March is the month of sacrifice in which Fatah heroes outlined the map of the homeland with their blood. He noted that during [March] was the Savoy [operation] (i.e., terror attack, 11 murdered), the first operation in which Fatah’s heroes attacked the thieving invaders in order to release our brave prisoners from the occupation’s prison. He also spoke about the heroic Kamal Adwan operation (i.e., the Coastal Road massacre, 37 murdered, 12 of them children), in which the heroes of the Deir Yassin squad crossed the [Mediterranean] Sea under the skies of Palestine, reached its land, and took revenge for the blood of the three great leaders who fell at Verdun [Street in Beirut] (refers to the Verdun Operation or Operation Spring of Youth, see note below -Ed.).”

Land Day – annual commemoration of the general strike and demonstrations organized by Israeli Arab residents of the Galilee on March 30, 1976 to protest the Israeli government's decision to expropriate land in the Galilee for security and building purposes, which it later implemented. During the protests, demonstrators burnt tires, blocked roads, and threw rocks and firebombs. Six demonstrators were shot and killed by the Israeli army and police. Israeli Arabs and Palestinians consider Land Day a national day.

The Karameh battle, or Al-Karameh - On March 21, 1968, Israeli army forces attacked the town of Karameh in Jordan, where Fatah terrorists had been launching attacks on Israel. Although Israel prevailed militarily, Arafat used the event for propaganda purposes, declaring the battle a great victory that erased the disgrace of the 1967 Six Day War defeat.

Savoy terror attack: In March 1975, eight terrorists traveled by boat from Lebanon to a Tel Aviv beach. They took over the Savoy Hotel and took guests as hostages. The next morning, Israeli forces attacked and killed seven of the terrorists. Eight hostages and three soldiers were killed by the terrorists during the attack.

Coastal Road Massacre - In March 1978, a group of Fatah terrorists from Lebanon led by Dalal Mughrabi hijacked a bus on Israel's Coastal Highway. Confronted by the Israeli army, the terrorists murdered many of the passengers on the bus, in total 37 civilians,12 of them children, and wounded more than 70. The attack, orchestrated by arch-terrorist Abu Jihad (Khalil Al-Wazir), is known in Israel as the Coastal Road Massacre.

The Verdun Operation is the Arabic name for an Israeli military operation against PLO targets in the Lebanese cities of Beirut and Sidon on April 10, 1973 (Operation Spring of Youth in Israel.) During the operation, Israeli army forces killed three senior PLO leaders, all of whom were also senior members of the Black September terror organization: Kamal Adwan, Kamal Nasser, and Abu Yusuf Al-Najjar.
