He noted that during [March] was the Savoy [operation] (i.e., terror attack, 11 murdered), the first operation in which Fatah’s heroes attacked the thieving invaders in order to release our brave prisoners from the occupation’s prison. He also spoke about the heroic Kamal Adwan operation (i.e., the Coastal Road massacre, 37 murdered, 12 of them children), in which the heroes of the Deir Yassin squad crossed the [Mediterranean] Sea under the skies of Palestine, reached its land, and took revenge for the blood of the three great leaders who fell at Verdun [Street in Beirut] (refers to the Verdun Operation or Operation Spring of Youth, see note below -Ed.).”
