PA daily: The “Zionist entity” forced its presence on “stolen Palestinian land”
Describing the life of one Fatah leader, Majed Abu Sharar, on the anniversary of his death, an announcement by the Fatah movement referred to the establishment of Israel in 1948 in the following way:
“When the Arab armies suffered defeat in the summer of 1948, he [Fatah leader Majed Abu Sharar] chose, along with his entire family, to accompany the Egyptian army, which withdrew to the Gaza Strip, in the hope that this army – as the backbone of the Arab army – would restore its initiative in fighting the Zionist entity, which had begun forcing its presence upon the stolen Palestinian land."
