"Arabs and Muslims all over the world" must "take action" to prevent Jews entering Temple Mount
Headline: “The Al-Aqsa Mosque is calling, and it is [bound] to the foundation of the principles of faith”
Mufti of the Rafiah Region and Member of the Supreme Council for Islamic Legal Rulings Sheikh Hassan Ahmad Jaber writes a weekly column in Al-Hayat Al-Jadida’s religious insert, “Religious Reflections”. On February 8, 2013 he wrote:
“In these sensitive days in the history of our people and our Arab nation, the Al-Aqsa Mosque is under a powerful attack aimed at taking control of it and all Jerusalem. The aim of these shameful acts is not just [to allow] Jews to enter the Mosque and pray there. Rather it is more far reaching and more dangerous. The aim is to test the waters and determine how Arabs and Muslims will act. If they are quiet and allow [Jews] to enter the Mosque easily, that will make it easy [for the Jews]. However, if Arabs and Muslims all over the world take action, and their reaction is proportionate to this dangerous situation, the enemy will not then dare to enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque or get near it…”
