PA Minister of Religious Affairs accuses Israel of "almost daily racist acts that target the Al-Aqsa Mosque"

“Minister of Religious Affairs Mahmoud Al-Habbash denounced the desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque Plaza and the insult to its sanctity by a group of racist settlers. Al-Habbash declared that these almost daily racist acts target the independence of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the integrity of the Islamic Palestinian sovereignty over it, especially in light of acts that have already gone beyond [being just] daily provocations, and have become premeditated systematic violations aimed at taking control of it (Al-Aqsa) and Judaizing it. This can be seen clearly in the settlers’ use of their models of the alleged Temple and in their clandestine transport [of the models] into the Al-Aqsa Mosque Plaza.”
