“The little that can be said [about the settler gangs] is that they are gangs that are out of control, and there is no law deterring them or ethics preventing them from committing their most horrible terror acts. It is impossible to compare the settlers’ acts in the Palestinian territories to the law of the jungle, because animals do not burn land or trees. If they kill, they do so out of hunger, so as not to starve. When they eat, they eat only their prey, while the settlers who are racist to their very bones kill only in order to take control of what belongs to others.”
