The number of residents in the State of Palestine was estimated at approximately 5.2 million – approximately 3.1 million in the West Bank and 2.1 million in the Gaza Strip.The rate of refugee residents for 2017 stood at approximately 42% of all the Palestinian residents in the State of Palestine, at a rate of 26% in the West Bank and 66% in the Gaza Strip.”
