Palestinian leadership "condemns" the "embarrassing and shameful" Sudanese peace agreement with Israel

Headline: “Unanimous Palestinian condemnation of the Sudanese normalization with the Zionist occupation”

“The Palestinian National Council (i.e., the legislative body of the PLO) said that Sudan’s normalization agreement with Israel [on Oct. 23, 2020] (see note below –Ed.) constitutes an unacceptable usage of the Palestinian cause in return for American and Israeli promises and illusions that will not bring peace, prosperity, and development to the region

The council emphasized that peace, stability, and prosperity in the region will only be achieved when the fully sovereign State of Palestine whose capital is Jerusalem will be established, a withdrawal is conducted from all the occupied Arab territories… and the Palestinian refugees will return in accordance with [UN] Resolution 194 (see note below –Ed.)…

PLO Executive Committee member [and DFLP Political Bureau member] Tayseer Khaled said that the fact that a number of the Arab governments are rushing into normalization with the Israeli enemy is embarrassing and shameful, which reflects something clear: the lack of national and pan-Arab strength among these governments, and their submission to the pressures of the American government by fulfilling its orders on everything connected to normalizing their relations with the Israeli occupation state, while exploiting the matter for the benefit of American President Donald Trump’s election campaign.

PLO Executive Committee member Ahmed Majdalani said that it is unfortunate that Sudan is joining the normalization list, when it was the state that determined the ‘three no’s’(no to peace, no to recognition, and no to negotiations) [parentheses in source] until the right returns to its owners, during the Arab League Summit held in 1967 in Khartoum.

Meanwhile, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) condemned the normalization that was carried out by the Sudanese government with the Zionist entity, which joins the list of falls and acts of treason by the non-independent Arab governments.”

Ahmed Majdalani also serves as Secretary-General of the terror organization Palestinian Popular Struggle Front (PPSF), PLO Executive Committee member, and head of the PLO Department of Labor and Planning.

Israeli peace agreements with the UAE and Bahrain

UN Resolution 194 (Chapter 11, Dec. 11, 1948) states that "refugees wishing to return to their homes and live at peace with their neighbors should be permitted to do so at the earliest practicable date, and that compensation should be paid for the property of those choosing not to return." Palestinian leaders argue this means that all Arabs who left Israel during the war (hundreds of thousands) and their descendants (a few million) have a "right of return" to Israel. Israel argues that the resolution only calls for a limited return and only under certain conditions, especially focusing on the words "wishing to return... and live at peace with their neighbors."
