Headline: “Have the US Jews turned their backs on Israel?”

“A poll recently conducted by the liberal Jewish-American organization J Street showed that for most of the American Jews, Israel no longer constitutes a concern or something that controls their outlook and decisions when they vote in [US] presidential elections…

We are standing before a reality in which a kind of distancing between most of the US Jews and Israel is taking place, but this cannot reach the level of turning their backs on it, particularly if it stands against any existential danger. We also must not ignore the fact that the US is the owner of the Zionist project in Palestine and the region, and therefore these Jews are the main fuel for their project in the eyes of Washington’s strategy. Therefore, it is difficult to completely separate the US Jews and Israel, but we must pay attention to the changes and attempt to use them for our interests.”
