“The Fatah Movement central Hebron branch, in cooperation with the guardians of the Ibrahimi Mosque (i.e., the Cave of the Patriarchs), organized a protest vigil yesterday, Friday [June 11, 2021], in front of the holy mosque as a sign of rejecting the fact that the Israeli occupation authorities have banned the Palestinian [PA] Ministry of Religious Affairs and the relevant official bodies from repairing the external amplifiers…
[Fatah] central Hebron branch member Muhannad Al-Ja’abari… demanded a permanent presence from our people in order to defend the Ibrahimi Mosque, to pray there, and to prevent the occupation and its settlers from attempting to take control of it. He emphasized that our people will remain loyal to the path of the Martyrs and prisoners, will defend its holy sites, and will not relinquish a grain of this holy homeland’s soil.”
